Andrew Nelson Kornstein, M.D., F.A.C.S. is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Kornstein graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a degree in Biochemical Genetics and a Distinction in Biology award. He obtained his M.D. and completed a N.I.H. fellowship in nuclear medicine and clinical cardiology at Cornell University Medical College. His residency programs in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery as well as a fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery were completed at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
 

Dr. Kornstein serves as an attending physician at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center's Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where his responsibilities include teaching plastic surgery residents. He also serves as an Associate Adjunct Surgeon at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary's Department of General Plastic Surgery. Dr. Kornstein prefers to perform most surgeries at his own state-of-the-art facility. The Museum Mile Surgery Center is fully approved by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. and is conveniently located within the office complex.

Dr. Kornstein serves on the Advisory Panel for Medicis Co., Inc. He trains surgeons in breast augmentation techniques for McGhan Medical Corporation and lectures on endoscopic browlifting and secondary rhinoplasty. Dr. Kornstein holds medical licenses in New York, California, Florida and Connecticut.
